Every yacht and every assignment is different. Survey fees are based upon vessel size, complexity, location, and the scope of work requested. Most pre purchase surveys for offshore cruising sailboats and larger motor yachts range from approximately $1,500 to $4,500 USD.

A comprehensive pre-purchase survey typically includes an in-water inspection, sea trial, out-of-water inspection, moisture analysis, systems evaluation, and a detailed written report. Larger, older, or more complex vessels may require additional time both onboard and during report preparation.

Unlike many surveyors, our reports are designed to serve as both a condition assessment and a practical reference guide for owners. We spend substantial time documenting vessel systems, maintenance considerations, and operational observations that can continue to provide value long after the survey is completed.

We regularly travel throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, North America, and other cruising regions. Travel expenses may apply depending upon vessel location.
